Our Story

Our love for exceptional food is deeply rooted in family, tradition, and heritage. Inspired by Italy and shaped by our Eastern European roots, we grew up surrounded by rich flavours, slow food, and the appreciation of quality ingredients prepared with care.

Martin’s passion for meat began early. His grandfather was a traditional butcher, and from a young age, Martin learned what truly great meat looks like, smells like, and tastes like. That early exposure shaped not only his standards, but his deep respect for craftsmanship, sourcing, and traditional techniques.

Vera brings the heart of the bakery to our story. A true master of sourdough and all baked goods, her hands carry generations of knowledge, patience, and precision. From natural fermentation to perfectly baked loaves and pastries, her creations are made with intuition, skill, and love.

Together, Martin and Vera share a deep passion for high-quality, rich, honest food—the kind of food that brings people together around a table, sparks conversation, and creates memories. What started as a shared love for great ingredients and traditional methods has grown into a craft they now share with others.
